What is a Doula?

A doula is a person who provides emotional and physical support—at the same time, supplying evidence-based information related to your pregnancy and childbirth.  As a doula, we work alongside your birthing team and are present at the time of labor and delivery. However, we do not provide any medical treatment or deliver your baby.
